June 4, 2002 The Vision of Children Back in December of 2000 when my wife Annette and I decided to form the Natalie's Way Foundation in honor of our daughter Natalie who five years ago was born with Oculocutaneous Albinism (OCA), we never dreamed it would have been so successful. Our endeavor started when both Annette and I decided that we needed to make a difference, we both felt that we were blessed with Natalie as a gift from God and was given the challenge to step up and make a difference in a condition that has been neglected for such a long time. That's when we made the choice to not sit idle, but begin to figure out a way to raise funds to support research for children born with uncorrectable vision disorders. This years benefit was held on April 25, 2002 at the LaTourette Golf Course in Staten Island, NY. We had approximately 200 people who attended the golf and dinner benefit and raised an excess of $25,000 for our causes. We consider our last two benefits a huge success for our foundation and are excited for our future endeavors. The Natalie's Way Foundation and my daughter Natalie, are extremely excited with the major strides that have been taken with The Vision of Children and their fight for a cause. With all of the success of your foundation it gives us great pleasure to present to The Vision of Children's Foundation with this check of $10,000.00 to fund research for children who are bo rn with uncorrectable vision disorders. In order for me to keep a healthy relationship with my current and future sponsor's, I ask that you please continue to keep us informed on how their donations benefited your research and of all your future progress. Thank you for giving Natalie's Way Foundation an opportunity to make a difference in a child's life.
